"A Year in the Life of an Editor - 2011 Edition"

The January 31, 2012, meeting will kick off our year of great programs with the Editor of RAILFAN & RAILROAD Magazine Steve Barry.
Steve will be showing his favorite photos from last year. Topics will include scenes from Florida to California, including the NRHS Cascade Rails convention and Train Festival 2011, the last logging railroad in North America, steam photo freights and plenty more...

Please note that this meeting is Tuesday evening.

2012 Meeting Schedule
The Morris Museum's hours are 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.  More details are available on the Morris Museum's web site.

Most meetings will be on the fourth week of the month, but the day of the week (Tuesday or Thursday) is inconsistent this year due to previous theater obligations.

Please check the Meeting Schedule for specific days and dates.

We hope that those who haven't been to a meeting in a while will come see the new home and enjoy the larger presentations.  We look forward to seeing you there.

 Directions to the Morris Museum

From I-80 East or West and I-287 South:  Take I-80 to I-287 South to Exit 37 (Route 24 East-Springfield).  Follow Route 24 East to Exit 2A onto Columbia Tpk. towards Morristown.  At the fourth traffic light, make a right on Normandy Heights Road.  The entrance to the Morris Museum is the first driveway on the left.

Alternate route from I-287 South (bypassing Route 24):  Take exit 35.  Turn left at the top of the ramp onto Route 124 East (Madison Avenue).   Turn left at third traffic light (by Friendly's Restaurant) onto Normandy Parkway.  Proceed through the next light at Columbia Tpk.  Normandy Pkwy. becomes Normandy Heights Road at this point.  The Morris Museum is the first driveway on the left.

From I-287 North:  Take Exit 36A.  Turn right at the top of the ramp onto Morris Avenue.  Stay to your right at the fork in the road and follow the signs for Route 510 (Morris Avenue becomes Columbia Tpk.)  Make a left at the first traffic light onto Normandy Heights Road.  The Morris Museum is the first driveway on the left.  Note:  Normandy Heights Road is one mile from Exit 36A.

From Route 24 West and I-78:  Take Route 24 West to Exit 2A onto Columbia Tpk. towards Morristown.  At the fourth traffic light, make a right on Normandy Heights Road.  The entrance to the Morris Museum is the first driveway on the left.
