Lake Hopatcong Railroad History Cruise & Dinner

About the Tour:

  • The Tri-State Railway Historical Society has secured a private tour of Lake Hopatcong, highlighting all the historical railroad sites along the shoreline, aboard the Lake Hopatcong Floating Classroom.

  • The cruise will feature live narration by Marty Kane of the Lake Hopatcong Historical Museum and Donna Macalle-Holly of the Lake Hopatcong Foundation.

  • Attendees are invited to join the Tri-State for dinner at The Windlass (next door, 45 Nolans Point Park Rd, Lake Hopatcong, NJ) immediately following the cruise (optional).

  • Those electing to dine at The Windlass will receive a $20.00 voucher, courtesy of the Tri-State Railway Historical Society, with their ticket purchase (limit one voucher per guest, valid only on the night of the cruise).

  • Date & Time: September 19, 2019 at 5 PM. The tour will last approximately 1.5 hours.

  • Pricing: $40/non-members, $30/members (limit 3 per member, see note at bottom)*

  • All proceeds benefit the Lake Hopatcong Foundation Environmental and Cultural Center.

  • Transportation: Attendees are expected to arrange their own transportation to and from Nolan’s Point.

  • Meeting Location: Dock at Nolan’s Point, 37 Nolan’s Point Park Road, Lake Hopatcong, NJ 07849.

Tickets must be purchased through Tri-State’s ticket vendor, Brown Paper Tickets.

*Members, please have your 8-digit membership number, located on your 2019 membership card, ready so you can access the member pricing by clicking “Enter a Password or Discount Code.” Please contact our Membership Committee at membership@tristaterail.org if you have misplaced your membership card. Your 2019 membership with Tri-State will need to be active on or before September 1, 2019 in order to be eligible for a discount.
