Monthly Meetings

Part of Tri-State’s mission is to educate the public, sharing the region’s railroading heritage and culture so that it may live on. Each month we host a meeting, to update our members on our efforts, and also feature an hour of railroad-oriented entertainment with guest speakers and photography exhibitions.

  • Check our schedule below. Our meetings are customarily held on the second Thursday of month at 7:30 PM. We typically observe a summer recess in July and August.

  • Sign up for meeting notices using the form below. We will send out presentation announcements and webinar registration information to you.

  • Meeting Attendance:

    • Virtual: All meetings are available virtually via Zoom. A registration link for the virtual option will be provided on each meeting’s event page. After registering, attendees will receive a confirmation email with instructions for joining the webinar. Please note: Webinar registration will only be available for meetings with announced presenters.

    • In-Person: Beginning in September 2026, select meetings will also offer an in-person attendance option for select meetings at:

      • The Gateway Community Resource Center is located on the ground floor of the First Presbyterian Church. On-site parking is available in the lot at the corner of Birch Street and Cornelia Street. The facility is handicap accessible.

      • Please check each meeting announcement to confirm whether an in-person attendance option will be available.
