Pursuing the Reading: One Man’s Obsession

The story of Dale Woodland’s fascination with the Reading Railroad from 1946 to the present. Images captured on a Brownie Holiday camera to modern digital cameras trace the history of the Reading in that era.

Dale Woodland is a retired Social Studies teacher living in Harleysville, Pa. He has had a life-long interest in the Reading Railroad and has an extensive photo collection from 1952 to the present. Dale serves as the Director of Museum Operations for the Reading Railroad Heritage Museum in Hamburg, Pa. and is the editor of the Keystoner and Seashore Lines columns in Railpace Magazine. He has written four hardcover books on the Reading and has many articles published in Trains, Railfan & Railroad and Classic Trains magazines.

This meeting will only be available virtually.
